William Alexander Nicol, age 82 of Stratford passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at Griffin Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on October 24, 1933 he was a son of the late William and Janet Thompson Nicol. William worked in the mail room for many years at Manny, Maxwell & Moore Co. before his retirement. William loved his cats and was an avid gardener and was the inventor of the Tiny Tim Seed Dispenser. He is survived by his sister; Betty Dobensky of Stratford and his bother; Allen Nicol of New Mexico. He is also survived by his nephews; William (Ellen) Dobensky, Danny Nicol and Jeff (Tiffany) Nicol and long time friend Lori Brown. All funeral services will be private
