William F. Franz, age 69 of Stratford passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Bridgeport Hospital. Born in Milford on April 9, 1947 he was the son of Robert and Marjorie Schnelle Franz. Bill was a talented musician and teacher of music. He had a true passion for the arts and had played with many great talents over the years; he was also a member of the Stratford Arts Commission. He is survived by his sister Susan Midolo and her husband Stephen, nephews; Christopher (C.J.) Midolo and his wife Ashley, as well as 5 great nieces and nephews all of Florida. A service in his memory will be held in July at Lordship Community Church.
