William Martin Posser, age 86 of Bridgeport passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at Cambridge Manor in Fairfield.  He was the widower of Mary Lena Gallant Posser.  Born in the Bronx, NY on October 10, 1927 he was a son of the late William and Ann Rilling Posser.  William was a proud veteran serving during WWII with both the US Navy and US Army.  He had worked at Bridgeport Brass for many years until his retirement.  He is survived by his 4 loving children; William Posser and his wife Fatima of Stratford, Joe Posser and his wife Susan of Arizona, Marianne Posser of Bethel and Barbara Posser of Stratford. He is also survived by his brother Warren Posser and his wife Elizabeth of Fairfield, 5 grandchildren, his great grandson and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, John Robert Posser.  Friends may greet the family on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 4 to 7 pm at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday evening at  6:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Ed Rawls, officiating.
