Vera Dubord, age 86, a long-time resident of Stratford, CT, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Masonicare in Wallingford, which provided her with tender, loving care. Vera was the devoted wife of George E. Dubord for 46 years. Vera was born in Manhattan, New York to the late John and Mary Terrana. She was a long-time employee of 35 years for Manufacturer's Hanover, where she held many responsible positions, including Assistant Branch Manager at the time of her retirement. Friends are invited to meet directly at Saint James Roman Catholic Church, 2110 Main Street, Stratford on Friday, February 28, 2014, at 10:30 am for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
