Tish McLean Krzyzek, 61, of Stratford passed away this weekend peacefully in her sleep. She was predeceased by her husband of 37 years, John C. Krzyzek. Tish was born to Mildred (Scott) and Martin McLean and grew up in Bridgeport. After graduating from the University of Bridgeport, Tish was a Dental Hygienist in Stratford for 31 years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted member of the First Congregational Church of Stratford. Survivors include her daughter Jaclyn Krzyzek and grandsons Azariah and Amani Schless-Krzyzek of Olympia,WA; daughter Janell Krzyzek, son-in-law Andrew Lovig and grandchildren Lucy, Henry, and Bennett Lovig of Monroe; her sister Maureen Kendrick and brother-in-law Richard Kendrick of Stratford; sister-in-law Dorothy McLean of Stratford; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews and her best friend, Susan Mincello of Shelton. In addition to her parents and husband, Tish was also predeceased by her brother Scott McLean and her sisters Mildred Geotsa, Dawn Ackley, and Gail Bull.A celebration of Tish's life will be held at The First Congregational Church, 2301 Main Street, Stratford on Friday, September 19, 2014 at 10am. Greeting the family will take place after the service in the church.
