Timothy J. Anderson, age 54 of Stratford passed away suddenly at his home on Monday, September 8, 2014. He was the devoted husband of 26 years to Susan Rooney Anderson. Born in Stamford on January 17, 1960 he was a son of the late Charles Raymond Anderson and Janice Claire Pearson Anderson of Middlebury, VT. Timmy was a graduate of Andrew Warde High School where he was an accomplished soccer player. For many years he was a printer for Fairfield University and the Connecticut Post. He was currently working for the Town of Stratford. Tim was an avid Boston Red Sox and New York Giant fan. He had a great love for all animals especially his special friend, his dog Rooney. He will always be remembered by his family friends for his great culinary skills, his shining personality and of course his witty insights. In addition to his mother and beloved wife Susan he is survived by his loving children; Molly and Collin Anderson, whom he loved more than anything. He is also survived by his brothers Kirk (Catherine) Anderson of Easton, Scott (Suzy) Anderson of Wallingford, VT, his sister; Loryn (Joe) Hamilton of Pittsford, VT and his mother in-law Elizabeth Rooney of Lordship. He also leaves behind his beautiful 6 nieces and nephews. A service in his memory will take place on Friday, September 12, 2014 at 7:00 pm at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford.
