Thomas John Toth, age 49 of Shelton passed away suddenly on Friday, June 1, 2018 at his home.  Born in Bridgeport on February 8, 1969 he was a loving son of Jack and Carol Long Toth of Florida. Tommy was the owner and operator of Bridgeport Coffee Break for many years. Tommy loved his family and friends first & foremost. He enjoyed camping, fishing and gardening, he was an avid Jets and Yankee fan.  Tommy's contagious smile, charismatic and witty personality will be remembered forever. Tommy was so proud of his son, Branden, for all of his athletic accomplishments with football and rugby. He never missed a single practice or game.

Tom is survived by his parents, loving children Rheaona "Ona" Toth and Branden Toth both of Shelton and his maternal grandmother Martha Long of Stratford.  His siblings; Jennifer (Darien) Toth of Stratford, Sandra (Sean) Toth Shelton and John (Daphne) Toth of Stratford.  He is also survived by his step children; Stephen, Deneen and Dylan Brideau and his step grandchildren; Jaiden, Carter, Ymani and the mother of his children, Cassandra (KC) Didolce.  As well as his nieces and nephews; Gus, Ally, Taylor, Marissa, Avery, Victoria, Shea, Jack and Darin and special cousins Laura and Jeffrey, his aunts, Karen and Sharon. Thomas touched the lives of so many, and was loved by all who knew him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, Shelton.  Friends may greet the family on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 from 4 to 8 pm at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford.  For online condolences please visit www.dennisanddarcy.com .  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the funeral home for the educational purposes of his son Branden.
