Obituary

Thomas George Sulier, age 31, passed away suddenly on Saturday April 25, 2015. Born in Bridgeport he was the precious and most cherished son of Thomas R. Sulier and Susan Carol (ne. Bolack) Sulier of Stratford.

Tom, a Bunnell High School graduate, attended Housatonic Community College and received Welding Certificates from Bristol Technical School. He was a welder for the Ram Welding Company in Naugatuck; previously worked for Ansonia Steel, of Beacon Falls; Stop and Shop of Shelton and United Parcel Service in Stratford. Tom was a Mason with Daytime Lodge 144 of Stratford and a former member of Teamsters Local 191. He enjoyed antique auctions and spending time with his family and friends who he loved and who loved him. Tom had a vibrant presence, a great fun loving personality, a wonderful sense of humor and he loved to make people happy.

Survivors in addition to his parents include his maternal grandmother, Marjorie H. Bolack of Stratford and paternal grandmother, Bonnie J. Strouse of Temperance, MI, his devoted girlfriend, Coleen Fox of Naugatuck, his aunts and uncles; George M. (Rita) Bolack of Stratford, Wilson and Jeffrey Sulier of Toledo, OH; Steven (Judy) Sulier and Lisa (ne. Sulier) Dusseau all of Temperance, MI; Cynthia (ne. Sulier) (Gary) Collins of Kincheloe, MI and several cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, George Bolack and his paternal grandfather, Thomas E. Sulier.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday April 29, 2015 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Archdeacon Bruce Bellmore, ordained Priest of the Anglican Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow in St. John cemetery, Stratford.

A Masonic Service will be held on Wednesday evening at 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home lead by Archdeacon Bellmore.
