Sylvia DiSicpio Mastriano, age 95 widow of Anthony Mastriano passed away peacefully at Maefair Health Care, Trumbull. She was born in Popoli, Providence de Pescara, Abruzzo, Italy on November 2, 1919 to Frederico and Marion DiSicpio. Sylvia was a retired cashier for CVS and was a member of the VFW, the Bridgeport Senior Center at Thorme St and was a volunteer at voters registration. She loved bingo, cooking and crocheting but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Maefair and hospice for their love and compassion during her stay. Survivors include her devoted daughter; Joanne Ullrich and her husband Thomas of Shelton, 2 sons; Charles Novitski and his wife Madeline of TN and Edward Novitski of North Haven. a sister, Dena Suzmowski of Hartford, 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brothers, Frank, Leo and Alvio DiSicpio and grandchildren, Sandra Adams, Edward Novitski and Susan Fraser. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 25, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Andrew's Church, 435 Anton St. Bridgeport. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
