Shirley Ann Johnson Kennedy, age 92 of Milford passed Sunday, January 24, 2021 at Milford Hospital. She was the widow of John Delbert Kennedy Jr..  Born in Bridgeport on January 26, 1929 she was a daughter of the late Hezekiah and Lillian Demmon Johnson.  Shirley enjoyed reading, crocheting and watching her soap operas with her beloved cat Jackson.  She is survived by her loving family, her sons; Brian Kennedy, Kevin Kennedy and John (Kimberly) Kennedy all of Milford.  Her sister, Virginia Steele of Milford and her grandsons; Connor, Tyler and Matthew, as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her devoted husband John of 65 years she was predeceased by her siblings; Allen, David, Vivian, Lucille and Laurel.  Funeral services will take place on Friday, January 29, 2021 at 11:30 AM at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford with Pastor Simeon Law officiating.  Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford.  Friends may greet the family on Friday morning from 10:00 am until time of services.  To offer online condolences please visit www.dennisanddarcy.com .  In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to, Stratford United Methodist Church, 2600 Main Street, Stratford 06615
