Sandra D. Porr, age 85, of Trumbull, CT, died Tuesday, March 31, 2020, in Morristown, NJ. Sandy was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Ruth (Berman) Dunn, and grew up in Watertown, MA. After graduating from Smith College and Yale University, Sandy married the late Roger Porr whom she met while at Yale. They lived in Hamden, CT, then Grinnell, IA. After moving back to Connecticut in the early 1960s, they made their home in Trumbull. Sandy had a dual career as a bank officer and homemaker. She led women's Bible studies at Calvary Evangelical Free Church for many years. Sandy is survived by her son Clay Porr and his wife Anne, her son Gregor Porr, granddaughter Sarah Reynolds and her husband Brandon, granddaughter Christine Porr, and sister-in-law Myra Dunn, as well as many nieces and nephews. Sandy will be buried next to Roger at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Easton, CT. Memorial services for family and friends will be held at a later date.
