Rose (Resnick) Goff, age 94, formerly of Stratford died May 23, 2013 at her home in Durham, Pennsylvania with her family by her side. Rose was born in New York, the daughter of the late Sadie and David Resnick and was a full time matriarch at the time of her passing. Raymond, her beloved husband of 68 years, passed away in 2004. Rose adored her family and devoted her life to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as to her nine siblings. She was nicknamed "the Baby Whisperer". Family survivors include her daughter, Arlene Robbins; grandchildren, Raymond Goff, Sandra Gesner, Michael Goff, Carle Robins III and Lauri Robbins Ericson; eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in addition to her brothers and sisters by a son, Raymond Goff and her son in law Carle Robbins Jr. Friends and relatives are invited to attend funeral services on Friday May 31, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford with Deacon Raymond Chervenak, officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Friday morning from 10 to 11:30 a.m. prior to services.
