Ronald R. Langdon, age 77, beloved husband of Florence Irene (Pellino) Langdon entered eternal life on Saturday December 21, 2013 at Bridgeport Hospital. Mr. Langdon was born October 8, 1936, son of the late Fred and Laura (Sorenson) Zeis and Harold Langdon and had been a lifelong Stratford resident. Ron was employed as a machinist with Harvey Hubbell and owned and operated Zeis Transportation in Stratford. Along with his wife, he was very involved in Stratford Politics. Survivors in addition to his wife, Florence included three children; Mark Pedersen and his wife Wendy, Seri Pasmeg and her husband Philip, Nicole Langdon and her fiancé Tim Martin, a sister, Elaine Bonaventura and her husband Gary, six grandchildren, Cody Ellen and Lars Pedersen, Philip, Peyton and Parker Pasmeg and Sophia Martin, nieces, Cindy Antonico, Barbara Blakeman, Rita D'Andrea and nephew Vincent Curcio along with several other nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Monday December 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. in the Stratford United Methodist Church, 2600 Main St. Stratford with Reverend Koonea Lee, officiating. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday (Today) from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory can be made to the Shriner's Hospital.
