Ronald "Dutch" Hetten Sr. age 80, loving husband of 56 years to Nancy Hetten, passed away into a peaceful rest on Friday January 20th, in the West Haven VA Hospital. Dutch resided in Stratford but originally was from Catasauqua, PA. He served in the United States Navy alongside his brother Bob. After enlistment he spent his profession being the Preferred Painter. Over the years he became a passionate Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Some favorite qualities of Dutch include, being an avid card player and playing Santa Claus during Christmas. In addition to his wife Nancy, he will be missed by his four children, Cheryl Ramanauskas, Carol Kascak, Ronald Hetten Jr., Christina Upton, and their spouses. Along with his four grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Dutch has now reunited with his parents, brothers and oldest grandson. The hours of visitation will be held Thursday, January 26th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dennis and D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford.
