Robert Stephen
Siksay Jr.
d. Mar 1, 2026
Robert Stephen Siksay Jr., age 73, of Stratford, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at Bridgeport Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Patricia "Patty" Sheridan Siksay, with whom he shared 50 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Bridgeport on September 28, 1952, he was the son of the late Robert Siksay Sr. and Arlene Jepson Siksay. Bob proudly served his country during the Vietnam Conflict as a member of the United States Navy.
Bob worked for many years as a manager at United Rentals before retiring. A lifelong fan of the New York Mets and New York Jets, he shared his love of sports with his son Kenny and many others while coaching Stratford Pony Baseball.
Known for his deep knowledge of current events, history, and trivia, Bob enjoyed hosting monthly game nights for "the girls." The highlight of the evening was "Robert's Trivia," where Bob delighted friends with little-known facts and stories that always brought plenty of laughs.
In addition to his devoted wife Patty, Bob is survived by his brothers Andrew (Charlotte) Siksay, Arthur Siksay, Jay Spear, and Gary Spear, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his cherished son Kenny, his brother Ronnie Siksay, his sister Mary Siksay, and his stepmother Sally Spear Siksay.
