Robert Charles McLaughlin, age 63 life long resident of Bridgeport passed away on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the Smilow Cancer Center in New Haven. Born in Bridgeport on January 1, 1951 he was a son of the late John J. McLaughlin Sr. and Carmella Giordano McLaughlin. Robert was the owner and operator of McLaughlin Landscaping Co. in Bridgeport. He is survived by his brother Bridgeport Firefighter, John J. McLaughlin Jr. and his wife Lorraine of Bridgeport, his sister, Karen McLaughlin of West Palm Beach, Fl and nephews; John, Brian and Michael McLaughlin. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Margaret's Shrine, Park Ave, Bridgeport. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Bridgeport.
