Priscilla Joan Ross, age 91, of Bridgeport, passed away peacefully on Saturday July 2, 2022. Born in Bridgeport on September 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Margaret and Peter Ross of Stratford, Connecticut. She was predeceased by her loving sisters and brothers: Rose of East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, Blanche Potanovich of Bridgeport, Connecticut, Helen Dematteo of Glendale, California, Doris Stepler of Milford, Connecticut, Betsy McGuire of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, Frances Ross of Rocky Hill, Connecticut, Johnny Ross of Milford, Connecticut, and Robert Ross of Roanoke, Virginia. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and dear friends who will miss her.

Priscilla was a graduate of Stratford High School and Sacred Heart University. She proudly served in the Navy Reserves for 30 years where she rose to the rank of Chief Petty Officer. She was an administrative assistant at General Electric and retired after 30 years of service. Prior to working for General Electric, she was employed as an administrative assistant at Columbia Records in New York.

Priscilla was a caring person and beautiful person inside and out and was always willing to lend a helping hand or provide support to those who needed it. She loved gardening, watching westerns, and following the news. An avid reader, she collected books which ranged from history of the United States, the wars and presidents, American Indians, mysteries, science fiction as well as comics of Peanuts and Batman.

Friends may greet the family on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from 9:00 - 10:30am at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am at St. Augustine Cathedral Church, 399 Washington Ave., Bridgeport, then interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
