Philomene Desir  passed away ,with family surrounding her at home, in Stratford on June 5th,2023. She was a grandmother to all and is survived by 3 kids , 8 nieces and nephews and a lot of grandchildren and great grandchildren that can't even be counted.

She was born on January 1st 1934 in Gonaives, Haiti. She moved to America in 1989 and had since then dedicated her time to raising her grandchildren and great grand children.

During her free time she would spend a majority of it at her local church in Stamford with Pastor Frank. She was a prayer warrior, a choir singer and a dedicated  church member.

Above all else Philomene was a woman who loved her family and went above and beyond.

Visitation will be held  on Monday June 12, 2023 in the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford  from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service starting  at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery.  All are welcome and flowers will be accepted.
