Phillip Balcastro Jr, age 77 of Stratford passed away on September 12, 2015 with his loving wife of 50 years, Shaileen Balcastro by his side who will have him in her memory forever. He served in the US Air Force and his favorite pastime was fishing at Bond's Dock in Stratford. He is truly at rest now and finally in peace joining his family, father, Phillip Sr., mother Albertina, brothers Sammy and Patsy Balcastro and nieces and nephews. He is survived in addition to his loving wife by his brother Frank Balcastro and his wife Rosanna, his sisters; Theresa Brassell and Madeline Balcastro, sister in law, Marie Balcastro and their families, including many nieces and nephews. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday September 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford with Father Bruce Roby of St. James Church , officiating.
