Peter Joseph Panicali, age 75, passed away at home on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, after a long illness. Born December 2, 1946, in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Charles and Margaret Panicali. Peter was a well-known professional drummer during the years he was able to work including the Billy Maxted Orchestra, Ringling Bros. & Barnum Bailey Circus, and Bill Baker's Five Satins. He enjoyed his beloved family, twin sisters Charlene Curcio and Angela (Robert J.) Auddino, his nephews, Robert A. (Sarah) Auddino, Christopher Auddino, Robert (Laura) Curcio, the late Charles (Raesha) Curcio. Peter had three great nieces, Hannah Auddino and Siena and Avery Curcio and one great nephew Jaxson Curcio. Peter also leaves behind many life-long best friends and colleagues. The family would especially like to thank Glenn Mariconda and Al Ferrante for their friendship and support. Visiting hours will be held on Monday October 17, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday October 18, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. meeting directly at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave. Stratford. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
