Peter Minaya, 78 of Bridgeport, CT, passed away on Jan. 19, 2023 after a long illness. He was a graduate of Harding High School class of "62".  He is best known for his athletic skills in sports.  He played three sports at Harding and went on to play football at Garden City Jr. College in Kansas.  He later coached football for Harding  High School under John Lewis and became Head Football Coach at Notre Dame High School of Fairfield.  Peter later became a well respected basketball and baseball official  in the state. Beside being a top athlete and official he was a proud member of the U.S. Army.  He was predeceased by his mother, Millie and father and brother John.  He has  a son Peter and step daughter, Bonnie.  You will truly be missed, rest in peace until we meet again.
