Paul Paltrineri Jr. (1934-2020) Paul Paltrineri Jr., age 86, of Stratford, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Bridgeport Hospital. He was the widower of Claire Bourgeois Paltrineri. Born in Wellesley, MA on February 1, 1934, he was a son of the late Paul and Mary Busolari Paltrineri Sr. Paul graduated from Wellesley High School in Massachusetts in 1952. He then earned his bachelor's degree from Clark University in Worcester, MA. Following college, he worked diligently at AVCO / Textron Corporation in Stratford, CT as a financial analyst and executive supervisor. Valuing hard work, family, and loyalty above all, Paul built a life-long career at AVCO/Textron Corp. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 51 years, Claire, and his son David Atwood Paltrineri. Paul is survived by his son Paul Paltrineri III, and his two dear grandchildren, Samantha Claire and Robert Hunter Paltrineri. Paul was driven first and foremost by family. Upon first meeting Claire in Cape Cod, his purpose in life was sealed. He loved his children and, later, his grandchildren with reckless abandon, never failing to beam with joy upon seeing Bobby or tell Samantha that she is "the apple of his eye." As a long-term resident of Fairfield, he was known for his grand tomato garden, walking his golden retrievers around town, and connecting with the common man.
