Patricia Ann Murphy, age 77 of Stratford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the widow of Francis (Frank) E. Murphy Jr.  Born in Milford on January 3, 1948 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Jeanne Kwiatkowski Jones.  Pat worked at Avco Lycoming and Dun & Bradstreet Co. She enjoyed taking trips to the casino with family and friends, her greatest pleasure was spending time with her three loving grandchildren.  She is survived by her son, Frank Murphy and his wife Samantha of Orange, her grandchildren; Frankie, Alden and Hannah.  She is also survived by her siblings; Judi (John) Edmonds, Deborah Jones, Diane Jones and Tom (Roberta) Jones; sister-in-laws; Cathy Murphy, Barbara Jones and a host of nieces and nephews.   In addition to her beloved husband Frank and her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John "Butch" Jones and sister Karen Stasko.  A visitation will take place on Monday, January 13, 2025 from 5 to 7 PM at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford.  Entombment will take place privately at a later date in the State Veterans Cemetery, Middletown.  In lieu of flowers please consider donating any of your unused household items to vvapickup.org.
