Olga Marcia Facsko Grant, age 98 of Ansonia passed away peacefully at Griffin Hospital with her family at her side on Thursday August 10, 2017. She was the widow of John Irving Grant. Olga's life was her children and her many grand, great grand and great great grandchildren. She taught them how to play cards was an adoring grandmother. Survivors include her beloved children, 4 sons, John I. (Karin) Grant of Topsham, ME, Roger A. Grant of Shelton, Mark A. (Gloria) Grant of Newnan, GA and Charles F. (Nancy) Grant of Naugatuck. 1 daughter, Judith Ann Grant of Ansonia, 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased in addition to her husband, by a son, Stephen M. Grant, 3 brothers, 6 sisters and a grandson. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Polish National Church, 1300 Stratford Rd. Stratford, CT 06615 with Father Michael Gitner, celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory can be made to the church.
