Norma Mae Schrader, age 95 of Stratford passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at her home.  She was the widow of Charles Moore Schrader.  Born in Bridgeport on February 4, 1925 she was a daughter of the late Allan Thurman Pratt and Mary Elizabeth Palmer Pratt.  Norma was a proud veteran of WWII serving with the US Army.  Mrs. Schrader was an extremely active member of Stratford United Methodist Church in Stratford, where the church kitchen was named in her honor.  She was a member of VFW 9460 in Stratford and helped with Girl Scouts and North Stratford Little League.  She is survived by her devoted children; Robert Schrader and his wife Elizabeth of Trumbull, Rev. Elizabeth Schrader of Stratford and Dorothy Steffany and her husband Paul of Milford.  Her brother; Gilbert Pratt of CO and daughter in-law Betsy Brown of VT.  She is also survived by her grandchildren; Jennifer Schrader, Michael Steffany, Lauren Steffany, John Steffany, Sarah Searle-Schrader and Becky Searle-Schrader and her great granddaughter Phoebe, as well as several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her loving husband Charles, she was predeceased by her son, Danny Schrader and her siblings; Allan Pratt, Alta Pratt and Frederick Pratt.  Due to current health concerns, a private burial will take place in Kings highway Cemetery in Milford.  A Public memorial service will be held at Stratford United Methodist Church at a later date.
