Nigel Lloyd Barnes, Beloved Father, 64

Nigel Lloyd Barnes of Clarendon, Jamaica, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, in the comfort of his home. Born on April 8, 1960, Nigel was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, cousin, uncle and an inspiring presence in the lives of all who knew him.

Nigel Lloyd Barnes will be remembered for his suave dance moves, his unwavering kindness, his unique laugh and the love he had for his family, friends and grapes. :)

A nurse for 22 years, Nigel dedicated his life to caring for others with unwavering kindness and professionalism. His commitment to the well-being of his patients and his ability to provide comfort in even the most challenging times earned him the admiration and gratitude of colleagues, patients, and their families alike. Nursing was not just his profession but his calling, and he embraced it with his whole heart.

He is survived by his wife, Sophia, his children, Jermaine, Tabia, Tasha, Dowain, Christopher, Kimberly, Lillia, Ethan and Layla Barnes and his grandchildren, Aaliyah, Tavia, Mayah, Micheal, Abigail, Soraya, Ethan, Kayson and Destiny Barnes, his brother, Isaac Anthony Barnes, sisters, Sharmen Barnes and Vinetta Barnes, and nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and other family and friends who will miss him dearly.

A celebration of Nigel Lloyd Barnes's life will take place on Friday, December 13, 2024  with a visitation starting at 10:00 A.M. till 12:00 P.M,  services to commence at 12 P.M. at Dennis & Darcy – Abriola & Kelemen in Stratford CT. Interment will follow in St Joesph's National Cemetery , Stratford Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of a remarkable man who meant so much to so many.
