Nicola (Nick) DiFiore, age 90, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2023. Born in Morcone, Italy, on August 18, 1932 to Francesco and Giovannina (Vitolano) DiFiore, Nick is survived by his adoring wife of 66 years, Rosina (Mucciacciaro) DiFiore.

In addition, Nick is survived by his loving daughter, Giovannina Koch of Vernon, CT; his two grandchildren, Hannah and Alexander Koch, of Vernon, CT; his sisters, Angela Perugini of Morcone, Italy, and Natalina Verardo of Foggia, Italy; his brother, Domenicangelo DiFiore of Como, Italy; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Nick immigrated with his wife and daughter in 1966 to Stratford, CT, where he worked as a machinist and manager for various manufacturing companies. Upon retiring in 2002, he remained an avid gardener, winemaker, woodworker, and fan of Serie A soccer; however, his loved ones will remember him for his genuine kindness.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday morning, January 18, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m. in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1950 Barnum Ave, Stratford. Entombment will take place in St. Michael's Cemetery Mausoleum.
