Nell Florence Zukowski, age 94, of Bridgeport passed away on Saturday May 25, 2013 at Northbridge Health Center. Born in New York City, NY on November 23, 1918, Nell was the daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline Dziaczuk Dombeck. She was a volunteer at the Red Cross, the Jewish Community Center and the Salvation Army. She loved to cook, travel and enjoyed sending greeting cards to all her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony Michael Zukowski of Bridgeport, her devoted sons, Robert Duane and his wife Cathy of West Springfield, MA and Donald Zukowski and his wife Jan of Clinton, two loving grandchildren, Diana Coyne and her husband David and Brian Duane, two great grandchildren, Sophie and Jason Coyne and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, James Zukowski, her daughter Arlene Zukowski Gambino, her brother Charles Dombeck and sister, Josephine Carroll. Friends and relatives are invited to attend graveside services on Wednesday May 29, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Mt. Grove of Easton Cemetery, Easton with Deacon Raymond Chervenak, officiating.
