Obituary

Nancy Laufer Anzalone, 64, passed away on April 16, 2024 at Bridgeport Hospital with her loving sons at her side.  Nancy Lynn was born on April 6, 1960, daughter of the late John Laufer and Rachel DiMeo Laufer. She was the beloved wife of Mario Anzalone.

In addition to her husband, survivors are her beloved sons: Joseph Raslavsky & Samuel Wellington, sister, Barbara Lill, brother-in-law Rich Yatsinko, grandchildren: Mya, Skye, Sophia, Joseph, & Willa along with several nieces & nephews.  She was predeceased by her beloved son Michael Raslavsky, step-daughter Desiree Anzalone, nephew Stephen Yatsinko, & sister Laura Yatsinko.  She was a lifelong resident of Stratford.

Nancy fought a brave battle with cancer for 2 1/2 years.  Strong & determined to live her best life.  She loved celebrating her Italian heritage, carrying on the traditions of her mother & grandmother.  She loved growing flowers & vegetables, like her father.  She loved music & boat rides.  Nancy was a devout Catholic and a lector for St. Joseph's Church, Stratford.

Friends may greet the family on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 4-7pm at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St., Stratford, CT 06615. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at St. Joseph's of Stratford National Catholic Church, 1300 Stratford Rd., Stratford, CT 06615.
