In Loving Memory of Miles G. Stevens III

November 21, 1946 – June 6, 2025

Miles G. Stevens III, of Fairfield, CT, passed away peacefully on June 6th, 2025. A man of many talents and an unmistakable personality, Miles lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and stories worth telling.

He spent his final year and a half at Apple Rehab in Shelton, but his spirit remained as vibrant as ever. Over the course of his life, he wore many hats—innkeeper, chef, boatyard security guard, archery enthusiast, and passionate CB radio user. He even crafted his own bows and loved birds deeply, especially his beloved Emerald, who now lives with his son Kalman.

Miles had a zest for life—always on the move, always up for an errand or an outing. He once called a boat his home and found great joy in fishing, shopping, and simply being around people. He had an infectious energy and a gift for making people laugh—everyone who met him has a story to tell.

A casual memorial will be held on June 30th from 5–7 PM at the Seagrape in Fairfield, a place close to his heart where he spent many years working and creating memories. Please stop by, have a bite to eat and share a memory or a laugh in the memorial book—a gift of stories we'll cherish forever.

He's gone fishing with the best—casting lines into heaven's waters, where the fish always bite and the stories never end.
