Mildred (Millie) DeSilvestro Hefferon, age 89, beloved wife of the late Lloyd F. Hefferon, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2017, at the Regency House, Wallingford, CT. Millie was a long-time resident of Stonybrook Gardens, Stratford, CT. She leaves behind her devoted children, Sharon Celone, Kathleen Grosner (Don), and Linda Neylan (John), seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by her five siblings. Millie enjoyed her family and daily phone conversations to stay connected with everyone. She is dearly loved and will be missed. A Celebration of Millie's Life will be held at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home 2611 Main St. Stratford CT 06615 on Saturday July 8, 2017 at 12:30 p.m. officiated by Reverend Edward Rawls. Friends are invited to greet the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
