Mildred Aldino, age 91 of Stratford , widow of Leonard P. Aldino passed away on Saturday February 15, 2014 at Milford Hospital. Born in Bridgeport on March 14, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Anna Basco Nakonechni (Nakoneczny). Mildred was an assembler at Schick in Milford before her retirement. She was a member of the Baldwin Center of Stratford and the Shelton Senior Center. Mildred enjoyed baking, gardening and especially traveling, ballroom dancing and country western dancing with her husband. Survivors include her beloved children; a son, Robert J. Aldino and his wife Andrea of Shelton and a daughter, Lorraine Zitnay and her husband George of Cape May, New Jersey, a sister, Helen Janisch of Newtown, four grandchildren, Kimberly Bepko and her husband Danny, Tina Beckwith and her husband Jim, Kevin Zitnay and Christopher Zitnay and his partner John Hong, eleven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Alex Nakonechni (Nakoneczny) and two sisters, Eva Eggers and Natalie Beddings. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday February 22, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Stratford with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
