Merton (Roy) LaBay, age 64 husband of the late Dolores Baldwin died peacefully on May 7, 2015 in Chaplin, CT. Born in Milford to Arthur and Irma Smith LaBay, Roy was a life long resident of Stratford and Milford before moving to Texas six years ago. He enjoyed carpentry, boating, old cars and his loving cat "Boo". He is survived by his devoted daughter, Kimberly Baldwin Hull of Red Oak, TX, a brother, Wesley (Terri) LaBay of RI, a sister, Joyce (Bob) Paul of Naugatuck, and the extended Hyatt and Fiddler families. He was predeceased by his brother Gerald LaBay. Friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday May 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 1056 Daniels Farm Rd.
