Mary Ruth (Pratt) Vogt passed away at home with family present on Sunday, April 30, 2017. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence. Mary resided in Stratford for 50 years and retired from King Coles / Waldbaums where she worked for over 38 years.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mary was the most generous person you could ever meet and was always willing to help. She loved playing bingo as often as she could, was an avid Yankees (Jeter) fan, loved to read, knit and watch her game shows.

Survivors include her son Gregory Vogt and his companion Faith Miller of Shelton, her daughter Lisa (Vogt) Capasso and her husband James Capasso of Stratford. Her grandchildren Jason Vogt, James Capasso, Jamie Vogt, Daniel Capasso, Jennifer (Vogt) Lanzoni, Alexander Vogt and Jesse Capasso (her favorite and best buddy), along with several great-grandchildren and one on the way.
