Mrs. Mary L. Vodola, age 93 of Shelton, a retired assembler for Hubbell Wiring Device, Incorporated, Bridgeport; died May 2, 2018 at Bishop Wicke Health Center.

Mrs. Vodola was a resident of Monroe for 35 years before moving to Shelton. She was born in Oakdale, PA; the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Wanda Battagliotti; but she lived most of her life in CT.

She was the widow of Joel Vodola, piano and organ teacher of Monroe, and former soprano soloist for Devon Union Church, Newfield Methodist Church, Summerfield Methodist Church, Monroe Congregational Church, and a former signer with the Stratford Congregational Church oratorio choir.

Private burial will be in Union Cemetery, Stratford. The Dennis & D'Arcy-Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street Stratford, is in charge of arrangements.
