Mary Ann (Dolyak) Lamson, age 78, formerly of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 18, 2021 at Connecticut Hospice in Branford after bravely fighting a short battle with cancer. She was the widow of William C. Lamson Sr.

Born in Bridgeport on October 5, 1942, she was a daughter of the late John and Helen Grich Dolyak and the beloved stepdaughter of the late George "Shorty" Boehm. Mary Ann enjoyed working at multiple jobs throughout her life but spoke highly about her time at Connecticut National Bank, Read's, and Vitramon and for many years, enjoyed volunteering as an EMT. Mary Ann enjoyed spending time with her family and dear friends.

Mary Ann is survived by her children Susan (Kevin) Sherman, Bill (Becky) Lamson, Judith (Robert) Rockwell, and Jennifer (Jeff) Lockshier. Her grandchildren, Nicole and Courtney Sherman, Marissa Lamson, Ryan Rockwell, and Jeff Jr., Jim, and Josh Lamson, and Dylan and Samantha Lockshier as well as many loved nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother, Bob Dolyak and sister, Dorothy Rooney. She is predeceased by her son, Jeff Lamson Sr. and her brother, Jack Dolyak.

Friends may greet the family from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home on Friday, June 25, 2021, 2611 Main St. Stratford CT 06615. Immediately following the calling hour, a Funeral Mass will be held for Mary Ann at 11:00 a.m. at St. Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave. Shelton CT 06484. Burial will be held at Huntington Lawn Cemetery (East), Shelton.
