Mary Louise Hill, age 90 of Stratford passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital. She was the widow of Richard Hill. Born in Uniontown, PA on February 2, 1928 she was a daughter of the late Raphael and Grazia Tate. Mary was an avid boater and was a past member of Fayerweather Yacht Club. She enjoyed traveling and taking trips to Mohegan Sun with her dear friend Barbara who later became her caretaker. She will sadly be missed by all especially her loving children; Nicholas Rossi of Hanford, CA, Donna Bonaparte of Palm Bay, Fl, Doloris Sperling and her husband Gregory of Stratford and her step-son, Milford Hill of Brookfield; 3 grandchildren, Tara Danner, Rebecca Sperling, James Cruz; and great-grandchildren, Ryan Danner, Brianna Cruz, Sarah Hill and Richard Hill. Mary is also survived by her dear friend, Barbara Arroyo and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving husband Richard she was predeceased by her siblings; Donald Anthony Tate, Carmen Tate, Michael Montani Tate, Rose Stasia Tate, Francesca Tate and Raphael Tate. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. James Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford.
