Mary Frances Falvo Corbin met her Lord and Savior on Friday, April 30, 2021 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Bridgeport. She was 91 years old.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Stratford as well as a parishioner at St. James Roman Catholic Church, where she attended daily Mass. She served in the United States Navy as a WAVE during the Korean War and was employed by The Southern New England Telephone Company prior to her retirement. Mary loved jazz music, and was a personal friend of the late Dave Brubek.
She is survived by her son Mark and his wife Marian of North Andover, Mass, four grandchildren, Jennifer Ostler, Ian Corbin, Rachel Brady and Hannah Corbin, and thirteen great grandchildren.
Arrangements are entrusted to Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, Stratford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at St. James Church in Stratford on Monday, May 10, 2021 at 10:30am. Burial will be private.
