Mary Kay Card, age 82, of Stratford, passed away at Bridgeport Hospital on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.

Born in Marietta, Ohio she was the daughter of the late Bernard Petty and Mary Martin (Abe). She was employed for many years at Bridgeport Fittings in Stratford, CT. Mary loved antique shopping and going to car shows. But she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her children Deborah Palyo (John), Teri Cable (Charlie), Russell Card, and Pamela Castagna. Grandchildren Melissa Bruce (Jason) Richard Palyo, Kristal Sivak (John) Matthew Palyo, John Castagna (Rachel) Joshua Cable, Nicolle Cable. Great grandchildren Ciera Palyo, Riley Palyo, Evan Palyo, Reese Bruce, Scarlett Sivak, JJ Sivak, and Madelyn Castagna, her brothers Ralph Petty and Joseph Petty (Carol) and Sisters Grace Bauerbach and Virginia Harrohill and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving husband Russell Card and her sisters Dorothy Clark and Peggy Johnson Chidester and her son-in-law John Castagna.

A Funeral Service will be held for Mary on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford CT. Friends may greet the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery, Stratford.
