Mark Leonard Bass, age 66, formerly of Fairfield, Connecticut and most recently of Hollywood, Florida, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 20, 2021.  Born September 8, 1954, Mark was a boisterous youth who spent most of his time rabble-rousing, attending Yankee games and enjoying concerts.  He graduated from Andrew Warde High School in Fairfield, CT before earning a bachelor's degree from Curry College in Milton, MA.  Mark's career began with Zemex Electronics in Connecticut before moving to Florida, where he worked for New Age Electronics.  Mark retired in 2014.  Mark was an avid and lifelong sports fan who loved to watch games and share his vast knowledge.  Mark's goal in life was to love others and be loved and he certainly achieved that.  He will be truly missed by all who ever had the pleasure to share his light and infectious laughter.  Mark has joined his beloved parents, Irving and Adeline Bass and his sister, Lynne Jodi Bass Patrone in eternal peace.  He will be sadly missed by his nephews, Richard Bass, of Hollywood, FL., RJ Bass and his wife Jillian, of Stratford, CT, Michael Patrone and his wife Denise, of Stratford, CT and David Petrino and his wife Jennifer, of Newnan, GA.   Mark was also the loving great uncle to Francesca Petrino, Lynne Bass, Jacob Bass, RJ Bass II and Daisy Patrone.  Mark is also survived by Craig Bass.  A service to celebrate Mark's life will be held graveside at Loyalty Cemetery, 172 Burroughs Road, Fairfield, CT on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 11am.
