Marjorie Hall Schlosser, age 100 of Stratford passed away peacefully on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Atria Assisted Living in Stratford. She was the widow of Lt. Col. Joseph D. Schlosser who passed away in 2007. Born in Bridgeport on June 5, 1916 she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Dorothy Felter Hall. Marjorie graduated Stratford High School class of 1933, she received her bachelor's degree from Cornell University and her master's from the University of Bridgeport. Mrs. Schlosser taught with the Stratford School System for 20 years mainly at Chapel and Eli Whitney Schools. She was the past president of Devon Garden Club; she was a member of the Stratford Historical Society and the Ladies Guild of St. Mark Roman Catholic Church and was an honorary member of Mill River Country Club. She is survived by her loving and devoted children; Joseph Schlosser of Stratford and Mary Lew Porter and her husband James of Palm Coast, FL. She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 10:00 am at St. Mark Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford.
