Marilyn Wilhelm, age 91 of Oldsmar, Florida previously of Stratford passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on Monday June 6, 2016. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Wilma Bieler. She was a graduate of Stratford High School class of 1942 and attended Butler Business School. She later met and married the love of her life the late Robert Wilhelm. Marilyn was a caring and compassionate person with a quiet demeanor and always had a kind word for everyone. She was a wonderful cook and would often talk to her children about Gram's chicken paprikash and egg soup. She worked for the Stratford YMCA for 22 years and was proficient in shorthand and typing. She loved flowers and especially the smell and aroma of Gardenias. Survivors include her beloved sons; Kurt Wilhelm of Oldsmar FL, Gary Wilhelm and his wife Kimberly of Milford, a sister, Carol Wanzie of Oldsmar, FL, 6 grandchildren, Mark and wife Nicole Wilhelm, Jason and wife Denise Wilhelm, Erica and husband Matthew Devitto, Amy and husband George St. Germain, Lauren Wilhelm and Bryan Wilhelm, 5 great grandchildren; Tyler, Emily, Declan, Tobias, Mason, nieces, Sharon Fecke, Debbie Cusumano, Karen Culbreth and Linda Tapia. Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday June 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, 500 Wigwam Lane, Stratford. Burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
