Margie M. Yarbrough, age 92 of East Point, Georgia and widow of William M. Yarbrough, passed away peacefully at Middlebrook Farms Assisted Living in Trumbull, CT on Sunday July 13, 2014. Born October 14, 1921 in Union City, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Mark and Minnie Maddox. Margie was a Real Estate Agent for Century 21 Scarborough Properties in Georgia before her retirement. Prior to her career as a realtor she was a bookkeeper for National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) in Atlanta. She was an active member of the East Point First Baptist Church. She was charter member and the Past President of the Fleur-de-lis Garden Club of East Point, Georgia. Margie enjoyed gardening, interior designing and was an avid reader of the Atlanta Journal. Survivors include her beloved daughter and son in law, Carla and Bill Loxsom of Stratford and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. Family and friends are invited to attended funeral services on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the Donehoo-Lewis Funeral Home, 736 South Central Ave., Hapeville, GA with Pastor J.W. Wallis officiating. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday morning from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to services. Burial will take place in College Park Cemetery, College Park, GA.
