Margaret Elizabeth Violano Perley, 85, of Shelton, CT, beloved wife of the late Allan J. Perley Sr., passed peacefully at her home on Friday, June 30, 2023. Margaret was born in Seymour, daughter of the late John and Wilhelmina (DeTullio)Violano. She is survived by her devoted sons Allan J. Perley Jr. (Winifred) Shelton, Christopher M. Perley (Allison), Stratford, brothers William Violano (Helen) Oxford, Dominic Violano (Pat), St. Petersburg, FL, Robert Violano (Joyce) Beacon Falls, and sister Ruth Ann Pisani, Beacon Falls, adored grandchildren Jessica and Luke Perley, Madyson, Samantha and Trevor Perley, step grandchildren Brian Perley and Tammy Welch. Cherished friends Lynn and Kenneth Monday and many nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband Margaret is predeceased by her brothers Joseph Violano, John Violano, sister Sally Kearney and stepchildren Bruce Perley, Cindy Long and Donald Perley.
We thank her amazing caregivers, Carmie, Cathy, Lynn, Mimi and Theresa, words cannot express our gratitude for your compassionate care and love you showed Margaret in her time of need. We would also like to thank Constellation Hospice Care Staff, Dr. Nicholas Blondin, and all the staff at Smilow Cancer Hospital Care Center, Trumbull.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00a.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 25 Church Street, Shelton, followed by interment at Lawn Cemetery (West section) 24 Lane Street, Shelton.
