Music Played, The Heavens Opened, Angels Rejoiced and Margaret Judge Lombard entered eternity on April 14, 2015. Born in Chicago, IL on October 26, 1919 to Patrick Judge and Bridget Walsh Judge, sister to Marty, Frank and Anne. Peggy graduated from Loyola University and worked as a Registered Nurse at the University of Chicago Hospital. She met Richard Lombard on a trip to Connecticut. They were married in January, 1947 and spent 61 years living in Bridgeport, together raising four children. Peggy worked as a public health nurse for the City of Bridgeport for twenty years before her retirement. She enjoyed traveling and times spent with her family. She had a special place in her heart for children and dogs. She offered a kind and encouraging word to everyone. She was predeceased by her parents, siblings and her beloved son Patrick J. Lombard. Peggy is survived by her sons; John Lombard and his wife Kathy of Stratford and Thomas Lombard of Bridgeport, her daughter Linda Lombard and Bruce Lemoine of Seymour and a cherished grandson John Lombard of Stratford. Peggy enjoyed a long and loving friendship with Marc Zemsky, Patrick's life partner. She will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Saturday April 18, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. meeting DIRECTLY at St. James Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Private Interment will be held in St. Michael Cemetery.
