Linda Lee Wallace

(Nov. 25, 1946 – April 2, 2022)

Linda Lee Wallace, age 75 of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly from Stratford CT, passed away in hospice on April 2, 2022 with the love of her family surrounding her.

Born in Bridgeport, CT to the late William & Ella Kovac, Linda was a long-time resident of Stratford, prior to moving to Shelton briefly before moving to Punta Gorda, FL.  She enjoyed the warmer weather.  She was a special police officer in her early life before taking on her career as a Police Dispatcher for the Stratford Police department before retiring.

Linda enjoyed casino trips, playing bingo, reading, sewing, hot air balloons, and was a member to the community clubhouse in FL where she participated in many activities. Most of all, Linda loved raising her children and being a grandmother.

She was loved & cherished by her daughter Linda Ann (Jeff) Smith of Stratford, her son Jack (Kelly)Wallace of Stratford, her four grandchildren Ian & Hailey Smith and Amanda & Zakkary Wallace.  Her sister Ruth Semancik of Stratford and her brother William and sister-in-law Josephine of Shelton.  Several nieces and nephews as well as life long special friends.  In addition to her parents, Linda was pre-deceased by her brothers, John & Henry and her sister Mary.

Friends and family may greet the family on Friday April 22, 2022  from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Dennis & D'Arcy – Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford. It is requested by the family that masks are to be worn at the funeral home.
