Linda Sharon Meola, age 80 passed away at Bridgeport Hospital on July 16, 2024. Born in Bridgeport, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Miriam Cosgrove. Linda Graduated from Central High School in 1961. She earned her nursing degree from Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse for 55 years. She loved helping others, she volunteered throughout her career and after her retirement. Linda volunteered at Bridgeport Hospital, Meals on Wheels, and her local church. She loved walking her dogs to the beach in Lordship. Linda enjoyed riding her motorcycle, scooter, MG convertible and golf cart around Lordship.

Linda is survived by her three children, Christopher, Gregory, and Anthony Meola, grandchildren Alyson and Ashley Meola, Christopher, Callie, and Nicholas Gendron and siblings Fred and David Cosgrove and Janet Chaffee. Linda had many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends that she adored. Linda is predeceased by her two husbands Joseph Meola and Scott Czerkas. She is also predeceased by her sister Barbara Terry.

Friends and family may greet the family on Thursday, July 25,2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main Street, Stratford, CT 06615, Friends and family are also invited to attend the Burial at Spring Grove Cemetery in Darien Ct, July 27, 2024, 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donation can be made to Stratford Animal Rescue Society in her name.
