Linda Kolesar, age 57, of Bridgeport went to Heaven on March 13, 2024.
Linda was born in Bridgeport and grew up in Stratford. She was a daughter of the late Charles Kolesar and Jean Mitchell and was a graduate of Stratford High School. She worked as a pharmacy technician for many years prior to becoming a prescription manager for a large physician's practice in Trumbull.
In her younger years, Linda she was an avid dog enthusiast that spent many years with her therapy dog, Kacey, going around to nursing homes so that residents could enjoy him. She also participated in agility trials around the area. In her free time she enjoyed hiking at Devils Den with her dog Sam and loved going fishing on the Hurricane charter boat many weekends with her dad out of Parcell's Marina. Linda enjoyed going to see Action / Sci-Fi movies and was an avid reader of Dean Koontz novels. Recently, she took up playing games like Wordle, Connections and the daily NYT mini puzzle which she always enjoyed sharing.
She leaves behind many who loved her, her daughter Emilie Valentine, sisters Pam Iannucci and Sharon Grom (Karl), nephews Ben Iannucci, Derrick Driver, Karl and Joe Grom, niece Sabrina Iannucci, many cousins and great nieces and nephews. She will also be dearly missed by her best friend Elizabeth Makraus. She was predeceased by her father Charles Kolesar, mother Jean Mitchell (Wesley) and sister Lori Driver.
A Graveside Service will be held for Linda at Union Cemetery, Stratford on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 11:00am with Rev. Ed Rawls officiating. To offer online condolences or share memories with her family please visit http://www.dennisanddarcy.com
