Linda L. Capra, age 70 of Shelton, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2024 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born on July 14, 1953 in Bridgeport, CT, she was a daughter to Leo Chadwick and Mary Idle and older sister to Brian Chadwick (Kathy). Linda is survived by her loving spouse James J. Capra. In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her son James M. Capra of Shelton, daughters Jennifer Marxo (Micheil) of Shelton, Jessica Schofield (Sean) of Seymour, grandson, Anthony Capra (whom she raised like a son), and grandchildren, Myla, Mayson, Kayla, and Kyler as well as many nieces and nephews. Linda also cherished her lifelong friends as well as many teacher friends.

Linda's calling was to always be a teacher and loved teaching for over thirty years with the Stratford Board of Education. Even after retirement, she always said she missed teaching. She always showed her students unconditional love and care. Linda was a devote catholic and always admired and prayed to Mother Cabrini. Linda always enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially going out to dinner, going on casino bus trips and playing bingo. She also enjoyed reading and watching her favorite TV shows like The Bachelor, American Idol, America's Got Talent, 7th Heaven, and Touched by an Angel, to just name a few.

Services will be private. Linda's final resting place will be at Huntington Cemetery on 40 Lane Street (East Section) in Shelton, CT 06484.
