Obituary

Lillian Lucas Jacopian was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut in 1914 and passed away just two months short of her 103rd birthday. She was the daughter of Andrew and Mary Lucas. Upon graduating from Warren Harding High School in Bridgeport, she attended business school and worked for the General Electric Company as secretary to the assistant comptroller.
She married Minas Jacopian in 1942 and they lived in Stratford, Connecticut for many years. She was an active member of the Eastern Star and Amaranth organizations.
They retired to Venice, Florida. After her husband passed away in 1997, she moved to Ginger Cove in Annapolis, Maryland to be near her family.
She will be missed by her daughter, Janice Jones and son-in-law, Kent L. Jones of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina (formerly of Davidsonville, Maryland), her granddaughter, Kristen Carey of Urbana, Maryland, her grandson, Kent W. Jones of Kearney, Nebraska and her three great-grandchildren, Sean Carey, Hannah Carey and Sabrina Jones.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Blvd., Annapolis, MD. 21401, or to a charity of your choice.
A Funeral service will be held for Lillian on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the Dennis & D'Arcy - Abriola & Kelemen Funeral Home, 2611 Main St. Stratford, Connecticut with Rev.
